Shopping online doubles in 12 months in Australia

The number of Australian shoppers utilising the Internet has grown expotentially, almost doubling to 2.3 million in the past twelve months, according to an article in news.com.au this morning.

When asked, shoppers overwhelmingly cited convenience as the main reason for shopping online, especially when shopping for Christmas and kids.

I suppose this means that I can feel less guilty about staff and friends receiving Apple iTunes Music Shop e-gift vouchers this Christmas.
